Top Rope Belay Class

Ideal for beginners, parents of young climbers, or boulderers new to roped climbing, this entry-level class covers

• Climbing safety and verbal commands

• Rope and harness safety

• Overview of belay devices, including GriGri and ATC

• Knot tying and belaying techniques

• Belaying and lowering procedures

• Details:

• Duration: 2 hours

• Age Requirement: 14+

• Cost: Typically $49; discounts may be available for students or during special promotions

• Includes: All necessary equipment and a day pass for climbing after the class

Upon successful completion, participants are certified to belay top rope climbs independently at Gravity Vault locations.

Our classes accommodate all levels! The kids will gain experience bouldering and top rope climbing. Each week they will learn new techniques with our skilled instructors. Classes include personalized coaching to help kids make goals and work towards them.
