Fall Kids Climbing Festival – The Gravity Vault Melville, NY

$25 per child | Ages 5–14 | Harnesses included
No reservations required – check-in begins at 1:45pm

Join us for our Fall Kids Climbing Festival! This event is perfect for kids ages 5-14. All experience levels welcome! During this 2-hour group climb kids will climb on our 40-foot top rope climbing walls with the help of a Gravity Vault Staff member to help manage the ropes. In addition to top rope climbing kids will have the option to play climbing games and enjoy fun climbing activities from our Kids Class and Summer Camp Programs.

What’s Included:

• Staff-led group climbing on our kids’ climbing walls with fun shapes and holds

• Climbing games that build confidence, problem-solving skills, and teamwork

• Lawn games for breaks between climbs

• A fall-themed craft to take home as a keepsake

Harnesses are provided, and our staff handles all the belaying, so parents can relax or cheer on their kids from the sidelines. Whether your child is brand new to climbing or already loves the sport, this event offers a safe and exciting way to try it out! 

Please note: Bouldering is not included in the Kids Climbing Festival.

The Gravity Vault Melville is located at 40 Melville Park Road in Melville, NY 11747, just off the Long Island Expressway. We’re conveniently located near parks, shopping, and dining, making it easy to turn your visit into a full family outing. With ample free parking and air conditioning, you can count on a fun and comfortable experience no matter the weather.

The Gravity Vault in Melville is proudly teaming up with Up ENDing Parkinson’s and Emerge Rehab to bring to you a meetup specifically for people who are affected by Parkinson’s disease. During the meetup, a Gravity Vault Staff member will be available to keep participants engaged and to belay as needed. This program runs once every month. Please sign up in advance so we know you are coming!

Overview

The Long Island Members Boulder Set is a special event created just for members of The Gravity Vault Melville and Westbury. During the set, members will have the opportunity to create a climb on the upstairs boulder wall. A variety of holds will be available to choose from, allowing participants to experiment with different styles, sequences, and levels of difficulty.
